The 'Roids

Today I was talking with a co-worker about the status of my various health issues. It turns out she has just scheduled an appointment for January 19th to check to see if she has fibroids. I'll have to remember to see if she's alright around that time.

Anyway, she made this funny comment about my fibroids and my thyroid, which led to massive giggles about my 'roids. Huh-larious. Of course, this was over the phone so I was trying to whisper-giggle. Not easy.

In other news, I keep feeling hot, but I don't think they're hot flashes, because it happens when I'm shopping and have multiple layers on so I'm already hot. Or tonight, I had a beer and then hung around inside with a down vest on (which looks really cute, I'm so glad I bought it). So, I'm going to say, officially no hot flashes yet.
