A Crafting We Will Go

It's Sunday night and I'm all crafted out. I've looked at more hip change purses made of cheap fabric, silk screened t-shirts, and ugly art than I ever cared to.

Amanda and I went to the Bazaar Bizarre on Saturday and Melanie and I went to Holiday Arts at the Station on Sunday. The BB was insanely crowded and we almost skipped it but ended up going in after the line to get in died down. My favorite things at this place were some really nice prints in bright colors and these shirts. Sadly, there were too many "artisans" who really didn't have any skills, or used cheap materials and charged too much.

The wares at Holiday Arts at the Station were of much higher quality than BB. My favorite thing was a purse by Heartfelt Designs. The grossest thing was a birds nest made of hair. That's right, hair. I'm throwing up now. I sort of saw it, but didn't get too close. Melanie made the mistake of actually looking at it and realized what it was made of. We hightailed it out of there at that point.
