Random Thoughts

I've been sick since last Friday, so it's going on 9+ days. It's given me a license to sleep a lot, drink many liters of ginger ale without feeling guilty about the soda calories, and watch a LOT of television. I've learned, there's not a lot on, but there are a lot of commercials. I'm currently sick of the one for cotton, where the mom and the little girl are playing dress-up. I think what gets under my skin is the song. I'm a BIG fan of the Amex commercials with Ellen and the animals. I'm not too fond of the Match.com commercials. They just serve to remind me that my experience with online dating hasn't been very successful.

I watched The Third Wheel today. I got it because Luke Wilson is in it and I like him. I now know why I barely remember this movie when it was released. I think it was actually a direct-to-video. There were some pretty funny parts, but not enough to recommend it. I do recommend Little Manhattan. Adorable. Funny, both of these movies had lots of scenes depicting awkward moments is dating.

Shopping news.
I went shopping for kitty litter and, against my better judgment, bought the smaller bucket of litter for more per pound because I didn't want to lug the bargain size up the stairs.

Ripped off at Sam's club: Paid $4.19 for a gallon of OJ, then found it on sale at PC for $2.19. Next time, I'm looking through the sale ads first.
